Rutgers Institutional Design For Self-Study

In preparation for its 10-year reaccreditation review, Rutgers chose a selected topics model for self-study. In its preliminary proposal sent to the Middle States Commission on March 13, 2006, the university identified the several topics to which it planned to devote concentrated attention, explained why they are important to the university, noted which accreditation standards would be addressed by the self-study and which would be addressed through documentation separate from the self-study, and listed the types of evidence and documentation available to verify compliance with those standards not addressed by the proposed self-study. The Preliminary Proposal for Decennial Middle States Commission on Higher Education Institutional Self-Study was subsequently approved by the Middle States Commission on March 21.
