Working Group I
Charge
In examining undergraduate enrollment management, retention, and student support services and certain related educational activities, Working Group I is charged with reporting on the degree to which the university is fulfilling its goal of academic excellence.

Working Group I/Subworking Group 1: Enrollment Management
Charge
Subworking Group 1 is charged with determining compliance with Standard 8 and with review of undergraduate student enrollment management, including review of tuition and fees and financial aid in light of the university’s mission and goals. Its review will be universitywide in scope and include the functions of undergraduate admissions, registration, and financial aid.

Working Group I/Subworking Group 2: Curricular, Cocurricular, Extracurricular Services
Charge
Subworking Group 2 is charged with determining compliance with Standard 9 and with review of all curricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular services (except for registration and financial aid) that support students’ educational progress, development, and understanding of their own educational process.

Working Group I/Subworking Group 3: Activities to Improve Access
Charge
Subworking Group 3 will examine a set of what, under the rubric of Standard 13, MSCHE classifies as related educational activities: “institutional programs or activities that are characterized by particular content, focus, location, mode of delivery, or sponsorship.” Specifically, Subworking Group 3 will review basic skills, additional locations, distance or distributed learning, and outreach programs to determine compliance with appropriate standards and congruence with the university’s mission and its goals of improving access and supporting retention.
