Working Group VI
Charge
Working Group VI is charged with analyzing the distinctive ways in which the university’s flagship campus at New Brunswick/Piscataway and its southern regional campus at Camden contribute to fulfilling the university’s mission and the strategic goal of linking academic distinction with significant service to communities beyond these campuses, particularly to the citizens of New Jersey. By studying of significant, salient examples of initiatives that generate, transmit, and apply scholarship that is of direct benefit to external communities, Working Group VI is further charged with determining the degree to which its case studies provide opportunities for undergraduates to enhance their education through participation in research, internships, or experiential learning and is charged with recommending measures that might enhance these opportunities. Working Group VI is also charged with coordinating its self-study with the work of Working Group III.
